In 1990 Tebani graduated from the Queensland College of Art, completing an Associate Diploma in photography and achieving the award of the AIPP Queensland Student Photographer of the Year. During this time Tebani exhibited her work in Brisbane with several solo and combined exhibitions, as well as gaining experience and knowledge from many leading photographers. Moving north Tebani made the Sunshine Coast her home and base for her work, achieving more awards and exhibiting her work.
Tebani believes that photography is truely an Art. Putting images or things that we see through our eyes onto film or paper, via a simple tool called a camera, is as difficult as putting pen to paper or paint to canvas. Photography, like other art forms, requires first the ability to see, feel then capture an emotion, a split second of time. People believe that it is this combination that depicts Tebani's unique style, seeing what others don't.

| Quote: “The camera is not merely an extension of our eye, in the Way the great Henri Cartier-Bresson concieved it, but an extension Of our greater sensibility. We can thus truly photograph what we Feel.” by Robert Haas |
